We Shoot It All and We Shoot It Well..........

We pride our selves in being able to take great images in many types of conditions for many different types of clients.

Photographing rock bands are no exception. Big act groups and national performers have absolutely great lighting that frankly anyone with a digital camera can point and shoot at and come away with half way decent images.

On the local scene, many times the lighting and conditions is far from being ideal for photography but being a professional photographer these are some of the problems that must be worked out and still come away with images that will be pleasing to us and to the performers.

My two son's, Shaun and Jason, have taken there considerable photographic skills and applied it to shooting a very dificult subject and came away with images that look and feel like they were natural and photographed by available light. They were not! They used as many as 4 portable flash units and colored gels with just a bit of available light.

FREE!! Engagement Shoot This Saturday!

That's right! You heard right! This is going to be a BLAST!! You gotta be there!

Saturday from 9am-3pm, Jason, Shaun and I will be taking Free engagement photographs for all couples that show up to Thee Wedding Warehouse's "Bridal Faire Workshop and Planning 101"

Fresh Look Images is bringing our traveling studio and shooting these portraits indoors to beat the heat. We will have all kinds of COOL props and we will spend about 15 minutes with each and every couple to take some fabulous and FUN images. Best of all they will be Free!

There will be many other interesting and informative things to check out at this show, so if you can find a way, come and join in. Please call ahead if you can to set up a time for the photo shoot. We will be busy and do not want to miss anyone.

Heidi and Scotty's Wedding

Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Wild Horse Pass Resort in Phoenix was the setting for Scotty and Heidi's "Very Country Wedding". What a perfect location for their ceremony on a beautiful late spring day.

Shaun and Scott ( we have a Scott too) were our two photographers for this very unique country couple.

What allot of people at the wedding didn't know was just a week before the ceremony, Scotty and Heidi dove up to Wyoming to check out a new job Scotty had just been offered. A week after the the wedding the two of them moved to a little town of 304 people called Ten Sleep, Wyoming. From what Heidi told me they are extremely happy with their decision to move and can see themselves there for a long time.

Rosann & Jose's Engagement

Meet Rosann & Jose. We meet very early on Saturday morning (like about 7:30am) to beat the heat and take some very fun and romantic engagement portraits. Rasann's mom was there to make sure the two of them behaved themselves....
NO, just kidding!!! She was really there too help with their very sweat and adorable baby daughter Niyema.
I took images of all three as well as just the two of them. Thanks Maria (Grandma) for helping!!


Rosann and Jose will be getting married on Saturday, September 27th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Avondale.

Wedding Planning 101

Save the date!! Wedding planning 101 is coming to the "Thee Wedding Wearhouse" on Saturday, August 30th. Many of valley's best wedding vendors will be on hand to offer innovative way's to plan your wedding.

Panoramic Wedding Albums

Amber, our in-house album designer and my son Jason's wife (we like to keep it in the family) has released three new panoramic album designs. She is very, very good at this and a real blessing to our photography business.

Family Reunion!!

Family reunions are always allot of fun especially if they are in California. Of course, being the consummate professional photographer that he is, Jason captured everything for his wife's (Amber) family archives.

July 6 th at Chula Vista Park in San Diego was the time and place for the Aguon family reunion. Jason said it was a blast meeting the rest of Amber's dad's uncles, aunts and cousins and eating all the really good guanine (Guam) food.

From the looks of all images they all look like a fun loving family.

Thee Bridal Extravaganza was a BIG success!!

Fun was had by all at "Thee Bridal Extravaganza" on Saturday the 26th at Estrella Vista Reception Center in Avondale. The show was considered by most people a big success. Even though it was a typical hot July day, a steady stream of Brides, Grooms, friends and family members filed through all day.

My two photographer son's, Jason and Shaun and myself (John) had a large photographic display showing our image making abilities. I love these shows because we not only get to have one on one interaction with many potential clients but we also get lots of feedback on our photography.

Forty different wedding vendors had displays along with two fashion shows and live music that entertained us all.

Many Thanks go out to Kathy from "Thee Wedding Warehouse" for all her hard work in planning and advertising that made this show a very big success. (She is the lady any the left of the flowers on photo above)
