Sassy Soirees an "Extraordinary Event Planner"

To say that Sassy Soirees (Shannon Smith) plans "Extraordinary Wedding & Social Events" is an understatement. Not only did we photograph Shannon's wedding way back in April 2005 but we have shot many weddings where Shannon has been the Event Planer. In our view she is one of the BEST we have worked with. I can not stress how much smoother your wedding will go when you have someone like Shannon at the helm. She has makes it possible for us as photographers to get much better images because we are not always so worried about the time line and getting people together because she takes care of all of that. Having her on top of that helps us to do what we do best and that is capturing great images of this special day for you. Elizabeth and Ryan's Engagment

Elizabeth and Ryan are a very fun couple as their engagement photo's will tell you. My son Shaun photographed them early on a Saturday morning at the end of May. Ryan and Shaun have been close friends for years so it will be allot of fun and emotions for Shaun to shoot their wedding.

Elizabeth and Ryan's wedding is to take place on November 22, 2008 at The Wright House in Mesa at 5:00 in the afternoon. If the two of them are as animated at their wedding as they were at the engagement shoot we should be in store for some very memorable images. :-)

West Valley Wedding Expo - June 28th

The West Valley Art Museum is having a wedding expo on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at their very beautiful location in Surprise. We will be there along with or family of wedding photographers and a great big display of our unique wedding images. This will give you a chance to meet us up close and personal. This should be a small, very relaxed and fun event that is promoting "All Things Weddings"

If you hate those big, fat huge wedding shows because of the huge crowds, this will be right up your Allie. Best of all it is free!!

Thee Wedding Warehouse #1

We are proud to announce that we have formed an alliance with Thee Wedding Warehouse. This wedding business really does have it all. It is a one stop wedding boutique for brides. You will want to meet Jacque Dearing and Kathy Bagget. They are the two main people that really make this shop hum. "Our business is all about serving brides from beginning to end" is their motto.


Offering Bridal Fairs four times a year, on going workshops, contests, special events and a varied array of wedding wares they really do have it all. They even have the floral shop "Endearing Floral Design" located right inside this business.


They promote our studio with a very cool photography display on their walls and an album of photographs of weddings we have done together. Megan and Floyd's Wedding

Megan and Floyd's wedding took place on March 15, 2008 at the Sedona Golf Resort. Have you ever been to a wedding in Sedona? If not, you do not know what you are missing.

Shaun and Jason (my son's) were the photographers at this sweet, happy event. What a cool place to tie the knot. I know we always look forward to traveling north to photograph a wedding. You can not have a better back drop than the red mountains of Sedona.

Julee and David's Wedding

Julee and David's wedding was on March 22, 2008 at the Talking Stick Golf Course in Scottsdale.

Because their wedding was a very traditional Jewish wedding with it starting right at sunset we did all the portraits two and a half hours before the ceremony.

Davids family came all the way from Israel to be apart of this very special day. Shaun, John and Jason were the photographers on this day. The Bride, Groom and relatives were so much fun we felt like we were part of the family.

It was the first time we had photographed a wedding at Talking Stick Golf Course. It was located in a very secluded and beautiful area of Scottsdale. We hope to go and work there many more times.

Sheena and Chris's Wedding

Sheena and Chris were married on March 8, 2008 at the Anthem Country Club. Jason was the portrait photographer with Scott doing the photojournalism at this beautiful outdoor event. I think this is one of the reasons our small group of photographers love shooting in Arizona. The weather is always (well almost always) great and we get to go to so many cool locations.

Children give us an easy oportunity to make great images at weddings. You just never know what they are going to do!

Susan the artistic quilter

Susan is an "Artist by design, Quilter by trade" My son Jason and I just photographed a very interesting and talented quilter by the name of Susan Vassallo. She says "These are not your grandma's quilts!!!" Boy, was she right! What an interesting evening we had photographing her and all her artistic quilts. Jennifer and John's Wedding

Jennifer and John's wedding was on March 8, 2008. The wedding took place at Holy Spirit Church in Tempe and the reception was at the Mesa Hilton. They are a very sweet couple that was a lot of fun capturing many wonderful images of this special day.

Jessica, Monica, Shaun and John were the photographers at this traditional Mexican wedding.Along with the Bride, Groom, bridal party and parents we all made a photographic stop after the wedding to a very cool office complex that has been laid out in a Tuscany design for some unusual images.

We also took the Bride and Groom to the tree filled park next to the Hilton for some outdoor romantic images. The weather was beautiful and hovered around 80 degrees.

We have moved!!

We have moved our studio and wedding show room from Chandler to Tempe. We are now located on Southern Ave. between Rural and Mill Ave. Our new address is 325 E. Southern Ave. #105, Tempe, AZ. 85282.
We will be much more center located to every one else in the valley and only 1/2 mile from Highway 60 (Superstitions Freeway). We are very easy to find and in a very nice and small office complex. We are now teaming up with and sharing part of our office's with Universal Disc Jockeys. We photographed a wedding a couple months back that Steve (the owner of Universal) was providing the DJ services for and we really hit it off with him. They are one of the best music service in the business of weddings and we are really glad to be so close to them.

Shayla and Arie's Wedding

Shayla and Arie's wedding took place on March 1, 2008. The location was at the Paloma Dairy Farm which Arie's family owns near Gila Bend in Arizona. It was a bit of a drive for the photographers (Jason, Shaun and John) but was it ever worth it. What a blast!!

The wedding itself took place in an alfalfa field on the farm itself with the reception taking place inside the family airplane hanger. Over 300 people witnessed this unique wedding on a beautiful March 1st day. The weather could not have been better and what a sunset we photographed those two in.

Shayla's sister, Shannon (a professional wedding planner by the way) did double duty. She not only planed out her sisters wedding to perfection but was one of the brides maids. All this and being a couple months pregnant. WOW!

Honey Bears restaurant catered all the food for this feast. Shannon's husband Mark is the manager of one of the Honey Bears that his father owns. Mark made sure all the food was cooked to perfection.
